We make money when you process payments through BlueRoute — 3% flat on every transaction. That's our entire revenue model. We don't need to charge a subscription because the payment volume from pool service operators sustains the business. The more successful you are, the more successful we are.

Is 3% competitive for payment processing?

Very. Skimmer's effective rate for recurring payments is 3.4% + $0.25 per transaction once you factor in their recurring surcharge. Housecall Pro charges 3.99% for online invoices. And those platforms charge a monthly subscription on top. With BlueRoute, 3% flat is your only cost — no per-transaction fee, no recurring surcharge, no subscription.

Will the rate go up?

Not for Founding Members. When you join as a Founding Member, your rate is locked to your account for life — regardless of what we charge future customers.

Do you support ACH / bank payments?

Yes. ACH will be available at launch with lower rates than card payments. Most homeowners pay by card, but for customers who prefer bank transfers, you'll have that option built right into BlueRoute Payments.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No contracts, no commitments. You can stop using BlueRoute at any time. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you with paperwork.

What if I want to use my own payment processor?

BlueRoute is built around BlueRoute Payments — it's how we keep the software free. The tradeoff: you get $0/month software with every feature included, and we handle your payment processing. For most pool operators, that's a much better deal than paying $50–200/month for software plus separate processing fees.

Can I import from Skimmer or Pool Brain?

Yes. We'll have import tools for Skimmer, Pool Brain, and CSV upload for anything else. Most operators are up and running in under an hour. And during the Founding Member period, you'll have a direct line to the founder for help.

Is my data secure?

Bank-level encryption, automatic backups, and we'll never sell your data. Your customer list is yours — period.

How do payouts work?

Funds from customer payments are deposited directly into your bank account. We're targeting next-business-day payouts at launch, with the option for faster deposits as we scale.
